Linda Love
Linda Love received her JD from Willamette University College of Law in 1981. Linda was an associate editor of the Willamette Law Review. She was admitted to the Oregon State Bar and the US District Court of Oregon in 1981. In 2002, she was admitted to the Washington State Bar.
Beginning in 2001, Linda has handled the firm's "Fen-Phen" Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (PPH) cases, along with partners Williams and O’Leary. They successfully resolved cases for PPH clients who lived in Oregon, Washington, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Rhode Island, Ohio, Utah, Louisiana, and New Jersey.
Linda Love also is the current chair of the board of NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon, which advocates to protect reproductive rights and to elect pro-choice candidates. She also serves as a board member of the Oregon Progressive Alliance and Fund, which supports progressive candidates and issues. In addition, Linda is a member of the President’s Council of the Democratic Party of Oregon. Linda Love is a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, Public Justice, and Oregon Women Lawyers. In addition, she is active in the Multnomah County Bar Association’s mentorship program. Linda Love is past President of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and past President of the Oregon Workers' Compensation Attorneys. She has served in the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates, on the Board of Governors of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and on the Executive Committee of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Oregon State Bar. Linda has authored published articles, including "Third Party Actions" (Chapter 27) Workers' Compensation 2000 Cumulative Supplement, Oregon State Bar Workers' Compensation Section. She has also been a speaker at the invitation of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, Oregon Workers' Compensation Attorneys, the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, the California Applicants' Attorneys Association, and LexisNexis (Mealey’s).
